On 9th July Franklin Lodge and Right Worshipful District Deputy Grand Master Richard G Howarth presented the Robert Johnston Service Award to Worshipful James P Martin . Worshipful Brother Martin received the award during the first in-person regular communication of Franklin Lodge since March, when the COVID-19 crisis began. It is well deserved for all the work he does for the Craft! A great night was enjoyed by the Brethren, particularly those who had not seen each other for a while.

Join Massachusetts Consistory, Scottish Rite Valley of Boston to raise money to purchase Personal Protection Equipment to help the healthcare workers at The Overlook/Masonic Health System https://www.gofundme.com/f/the-overlook-masonic-health-system-ppe-supplies We have found sources for supplies but now need the money to purchase them on an ongoing basis: - N95 Masks - Surgical Gowns - Face Shields - Gloves ...and more! Funds from this campaign will periodically be withdrawn and sent to the Treasurer for Massachusetts Consistory (the organization raising these monies) to be deposited in Massachusetts Consistory's  account. Massachusetts Consistory will then reimburse the individual who purchased personal protection equipment supplies and delivered them to The Overlook (the beneficiary of this fundraiser).  An additional person will review and approve all reimbursements. On  Sunday April 12 th  at 11am  the family members of the residents on Knollwood Nursing Center will be holding a Easter Parade for their loved ones and staff of the Nursing Center. Being that Knollwood is managed by Overlook the management of Knollwood has invited the Masonic Lodges of the 23 rd  district to participate in this event. Knollwood Center will be providing the names of some of their residents so that we can make signs of encouragement to display on our cars. POSTPONED! Delay of Boylston Lodge Beef/Steak Night 2020 Brothers and Guests, Due to the current public health situation surrounding COVID-19, I have decided to postpone the Boylston Lodge Steak Night previously scheduled for Friday, 03/27/2020. It is with a heavy heart that we must do so, but once we have this event we want all to feel comfortable, safe and be able to have the great time we are certain it will be. Given the evolving nature of this  public health event we will wait forty-five(45) days to evaluate and  publish a revised schedule date.   If you have already purchased a ticket,  your reservation remains in force until the new date is determined  and announced.  If the new schedule date poses a hardship for you, we will provide a full refund for your reservation at that time. POSTPONED WHEN:  SUNDAY MARCH 15th, 3:00 PM WHERE:   DCU CENTER WORCESTER, MA  Due to  COVID -19 cancellations continue at a rapid pace: T he current The Worcester  Railers  Games have been suspended for the season.   Franklin Lodge is inquiring about another game next season or how refunds or credits will be processed.  I am sure the  Railers  are as overwhelmed as the rest of us so it may take some time to get an answer. Tuesday, 10 March 2020 from 18:00-21:00 Dairy Queen Grill & Chill (328 W Boylston St, West Boylston, MA) We now only hold our DQ fundraisers once per quarter so it's very   important to come out and show your support. These fundraisers have been extremely instrumental in the Chapter's well being and your attendance will allow us to generate more money! BFD (Benjamin Franklin DeMoley) will receive a percentage of the sales from the drive-thru, dine in and takeout business!  Please consider coming out for dinner, a snack, a sweet DQ treat after dinner or just join us for some brotherhood. Invite your friends and family to stop by!  We hope to see everyone there!
