The talk will touch upon the symbolism of the Blue Lodge degrees and the purpose of Masonry.  The talk will be suitable for an untyled Lodge.  All Freemasons are welcome!   DDGM R.W. Micheal J. Leonard will be holding his First Fraternal Visit to Trinity Lodge A.F.& A.M. in Clinton, MA on Tuesday, January 19th, 2021 at 8 P.M.   Due to Statewide Co-vid 19 indoor meeting restrictions, in force at the time of this meeting, it will be made available via Zoom. Please contact the Master of your Lodge in reasonable advance to RSVP  to indicate your intended attendance and have him add you to the verified Zoom meeting Tyler's Lobby List to properly allow your admission to this meeting.  Approach this meeting with proper Masonic conduct and respect. Your patience is expected as these are unusual times creating new challenges for every organization.  A dedicated group of Brother's are working hard to bring you these communications. It is possible to be safe and active in your Lodge and in many other Masonic activities during these pandemic times. True Brother's working  in the Light will always find a way!

  Brethren of the 23rd Masonic District  and beyond We are pleased to announce and congratulate our newest 23th District Deputy Grand Master,  RW Micheal J. Leonard   who was installed this afternoon by MW Richard Maggio, Grand Master of Masons in Massachusetts.      RW Brother Leonard  is a Past Master of Trinity Lodge A.F.& A.M., located in Clinton, MA and past 23rd District Deputy Grand Marshal.  He has been very active in Freemasonry for many years serving as an officer in many regional Lodges and is widely known for his work with some of the finest Masonic youth groups in Massachusetts.   He is a great addition to the long line of exceptional PDDGM's of the 23rd District.  We are fortunate to have such a great proven leader and we look forward to supporting him and his newly formed Suite.   District Deputy Grand Secretary: Wor. Franklin Lodge, Robert Johnston Service Award Recipient: Worshipful James P Martin

On 9th July Franklin Lodge and Right Worshipful District Deputy Grand Master Richard G Howarth presented the Robert Johnston Service Award to Worshipful James P Martin . Worshipful Brother Martin received the award during the first in-person regular communication of Franklin Lodge since March, when the COVID-19 crisis began. It is well deserved for all the work he does for the Craft! A great night was enjoyed by the Brethren, particularly those who had not seen each other for a while.

Join Massachusetts Consistory, Scottish Rite Valley of Boston to raise money to purchase Personal Protection Equipment to help the healthcare workers at The Overlook/Masonic Health System https://www.gofundme.com/f/the-overlook-masonic-health-system-ppe-supplies We have found sources for supplies but now need the money to purchase them on an ongoing basis: - N95 Masks - Surgical Gowns - Face Shields - Gloves ...and more! Funds from this campaign will periodically be withdrawn and sent to the Treasurer for Massachusetts Consistory (the organization raising these monies) to be deposited in Massachusetts Consistory's  account. Massachusetts Consistory will then reimburse the individual who purchased personal protection equipment supplies and delivered them to The Overlook (the beneficiary of this fundraiser).  An additional person will review and approve all reimbursements. On  Sunday April 12 th  at 11am  the family members of the residents on Knollwood Nursing Center will be holding a Easter Parade for their loved ones and staff of the Nursing Center. Being that Knollwood is managed by Overlook the management of Knollwood has invited the Masonic Lodges of the 23 rd  district to participate in this event. Knollwood Center will be providing the names of some of their residents so that we can make signs of encouragement to display on our cars. POSTPONED! Delay of Boylston Lodge Beef/Steak Night 2020 Brothers and Guests, Due to the current public health situation surrounding COVID-19, I have decided to postpone the Boylston Lodge Steak Night previously scheduled for Friday, 03/27/2020. It is with a heavy heart that we must do so, but once we have this event we want all to feel comfortable, safe and be able to have the great time we are certain it will be. Given the evolving nature of this  public health event we will wait forty-five(45) days to evaluate and  publish a revised schedule date.   If you have already purchased a ticket,  your reservation remains in force until the new date is determined  and announced.  If the new schedule date poses a hardship for you, we will provide a full refund for your reservation at that time.
